Awarded every Monday. Voted by the staff Sunday night based on film and practice effort. Recognized in front of the team.

The Awards

  • Defender of the Week — most charges, deflections, contested shots.
  • Glue Guy of the Week — screens, boxouts, hustle plays.
  • Scout Team Player of the Week — best mimic of the opponent in practice.
  • Academic of the Week — best teacher feedback / improvement.
  • Locker Room Player of the Week — voted by teammates, given Friday.
  • Gold Jersey Winner — players and coaches vote every Sunday night; the winner wears the gold jersey the rest of the week.
  • Charge Award — buy the kid a steak for every charge they took.
